A study day for clinical staff supporting patients undergoing treatment for cancer giving them the opportunity to look at how the palliative care approach can be used to support patients earlier in their illness. The day may prove beneficial to those supporting patients with a non-cancer diagnosis.

The course will include an understanding of different types of psychological therapies, supporting families, the rehabilitative approach to managing symptoms, and supporting patients back to work.
