Who is this course for?
Any health care professionals and members of the community who want to learn more about dementia and the small ways you can help and/or would like to know more about the work of the Hospice.

Course Content:
A Dementia Friend learns a little of what it is like to live with dementia. Anyone of any age can be a Dementia Friend. These sessions are run by Dementia Friends Champions who are trained and supported by the Alzheimer’s Society.

We invite you to come and get to know North London Hospice and learn more about the services we provide. Our aim is to get people talking and thinking about hospice care, dispel common myths and encourage people to support their local hospice. During your visit you will be given a tour of the hospice site, receive information about the services we provide and how the hospice is funded as well as have the opportunity to ask any questions.

You are welcome to attend both the Dementia Friends session and Hospice Tour together or either session alone.

Fee: Free

Tours are free of charge, however donations towards patient care are welcome
