Training and Development

North London Hospice provides a range of multi-disciplinary education for those providing end of life care. We offer a range of courses to support professionals to develop their knowledge, learn new skills, and improve the care they give to patients and their families.

We are also pleased to offer learning opportunities suitable for clinicians and non clinicians alike. We offer a level 2 award QCF qualification in Awareness of End of Life Care in partnership with Barnet & Southgate College. We also hold monthly tours of the hospice and Dementia Friends information sessions, which are open to all.

We also offer: Syringe driver training, ‘Introduction to Palliative Care’ for trained nurses, ‘Introduction to Palliative Care’ for Health Care Assistants and Support workers, ‘Communication and Advanced Care Planning’ and ‘End of Life Care and Dementia’.
