Talya's story

“I chose to climb Killimanjaro for North London Hospice because I wanted to do something in memory of my mother. The Hospice had been so amazing, not only caring for my mum but they were there for us too. My mum was looked after at home by the wonderful North London Hospice community team. During her last days when I stayed over with her, and in the early hours of the morning when I couldn't think clearly there was always someone on the end of the line from the Hospice, that I could talk to.”

George's Story

“I chose to run the London Marathon for North London Hospice because of the fantastic care they gave my best friend when he spent his last few weeks there following a year-long battle with lung cancer.
I spent a lot of time at the hospice and saw just how wonderful all the staff were with my friend, how they did everything they could to make sure he was comfortable. I hoped that by running the marathon for the hospice, I could ensure that others in the future would continue to receive such personal and supportive care from such lovely, dedicated people."
