The Hospice needs £6m every year to support patients, their families, friends and carers throughout Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. We currently receive only 25% of this from the NHS and rely on the generosity of people in the community to help us raise the rest.
There are so many ways you can help.
Georgia Kessler's story
Georgia Kessler chose to support us when she ran the 2011 London Marathon because we looked after her much-loved Gramps, John Bird.
John really looked forward to his weekly visits to Day Centre and while he was here, played Prince Charming in the annual pantomime. So Georgia thought it would be a great idea to run the marathon dressed up as Snow White, with her friends and family cheering her on dressed as the Seven Dwarfs.
Georgia explains how much her grandpa meant to her.
'My Gramps was a truly inspirational man and has been the reason for so many things I do and the challenges I set myself.
'I'm putting myself through 26.2 miles of hell to raise money for the Hospice but also to prove that anything you set your mind to, and really go for wholeheartedly is achievable, because that's what he taught me.'

Georgia completed the marathon in just under seven hours despite an injured knee and the hot weather, raising over £1000 towards our care.
