Volunteer

Want to get involved in volunteering at North London Hospice?

We try to make our volunteering roles as rewarding as possible and people give 3-4 hours per week to meet new people, gain work experience or just have the satisfaction of supporting our worthwhile cause. Fellow volunteers and staff are very friendly, regular study days and talks are arranged throughout the year as are support meetings.

We need volunteers to drive patients and families to or from the Hospice, meet visitors when they arrive, serve in the coffee shop or take meals to our patients on the wards.

We ask that volunteers are over 17 years old and remain a volunteer for one year. You will need to attend three initial training sessions. Please note two of the sessions are from 9:00 - 17:00 and sessions are always held on a weekday. See individual roles for additional training commitment required.

If you need any further information, please contact the Voluntary Service Manager at North London Hospice, 47 Woodside Avenue, London N12 8TT or email volco@northlondonhospice.co.uk
