Investing in people at end of life in Barnet, Enfield & Haringey
As the population is ageing with an increase of people living for longer with a number of conditions, ‘hospice care’ will involve our communities to be even more involved in the solution to care as well as engaging with us differently.
Through the recruitment of four key posts we intend to improve our capacity to make essential contacts and develop resources. From this we will ‘know’ our communities more reliably so we are more likely to be useful to them, they will support us in to the future – and vitally, provide support to each other.
Through this important two year Board Investment, we are seeking an improvement of participation in our Health & Wellbeing Services, a growth in the number of Compassionate Neighbours and Community Members assisted out of loneliness and more ways in which communities are equipped to self-manage – all of this underpinned by our intention to be more accessible.
We are looking for someone with excellent administrative skills and recognising the significance of social isolation and its impact on wellbeing, your sensitive response will contribute to generating compassion in our communities.
