It was definitely looking a lot like Christmas in the High Barnet branch of Barclays bank on Friday 11 December, as staff got dressed up in their festive gear to raise money for North London Hospice.

Local businesses on the high street donated an array of wonderful gifts for the bank’s Christmas raffle raising funds that will go towards providing care and support to North London Hospice patients and their families.

Carolina Bibby, branch manager from Barclays bank in High Barnet said:”

” We chose North London Hospice as it is local to us and it is highly recognised by our customers. On the actual day of the party, we had cakes and mince pies, Christmas songs, and we all dressed up. The atmosphere was buzzing and we had lots of donations on that day. We drew the prizes in the afternoon, with lots of customers present. Overall it was a great success and I am proud of the fact that we raised £715.00, which will also be matched pound for pound by Barclays.”

Thank you to everyone that supported this event and made a donation.
