Members of various community groups around the Enfield area decided to club together and buy some new crockery and board games for patients to enjoy at their daily ‘tea at 3’ event.

Every day at the North Finchley Hospice afternoon tea, including a selection of delicious home made cakes, is served in the Hospice’s living room area to patients, family and friends.

Zoe from Zinfinity runs craft workshops around the borough of Enfield at a cost of £1 for participants. Workshop participants chose North London Hospice to donate their £1 to and decided to buy some new beautiful crockery and some board games to make ‘tea at 3’ extra special for patients and their family’s to enjoy at the Hospice.

Zoe from Zinfinity who organized the donation said: “The hospice was lovely, so full of colour and light. The atmosphere was so relaxing that we stayed chatting for some time. We’d like to thank Caroline at Pearsons Enfield who worked to give us a great discount so we could afford the tea set to donate to the Hospice.”

Robin Langrishe, director of fundraising at North London Hospice said: “We are extremely grateful for the lovely new tea sets donated by our local community. At North London hospice we try and make the most of the time our patients have left with their families. This will really mean a lot to our patients and our families who enjoy our ‘tea at 3’ service.”
