Longstanding fundraiser Pollyanna Boothby is going for the chop for North London Hospice. On Sunday 30 March, at 11.15am Pollyanna will say goodbye to her shiny locks and will have her hair shaved off at the Whetstone branch of Marks and Spencer’s in aid of the Hospice.

“My husband passed away at North London Hospice six years ago from pancreatic cancer. I cannot thank the Hospice enough for everything they did for my husband and for supporting me through such a difficult time in my life.”

Pollyanna is not a stranger to fundraising. She has raised a staggering £20,000 in the last five years for the following local charities: Cherry Lodge, Barnet Care, Cancer Link and North London Hospice. So much so that she has been nominated for a Citizen Award for all her endless charity fundraising.
