North London Hospice has appointed a new manager for its day services as the charity expands its specialist care this spring with a new state-of-the-art building in Enfield. To complement its established services in Barnet, the hospice – which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year – will open its purpose-built day services at Winchmore Hill this May. New manager Anneli Beesley (pictured) says it’s an exciting time for everyone involved with North London Hospice’s latest development. “We can’t wait to get started,” said Anneli, who brings experience of promoting wellbeing from a background of social work and psychology. “We’re very proud of the new building and we’re hoping to reach many more people who need us from across Barnet, Haringey and Enfield. “Day care for our outpatients will include a wide range of specialist treatments and complementary therapies – everything from reflexology to art therapy – as well as vital services including pain management.”
