Local MP for Chipping Barnet Theresa Villiers visited North London Hospice in Finchley to express her views on Hospice care. An interaction board was set up in the reception areas at Finchley and Enfield for staff, visitors and patients to share what Hospice Care means to them. North London Hospice was one of more than 100 hospices across the UK that took part in this year’s Hospice Care Week (6-12 October). Theresa Villiers MP took some time out of her busy schedule to write on the hospice’s interactive board at Woodside Avenue. Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, commented: “I was delighted to be able to pop into the North London Hospice last week in aid of Hospice Care Week. The work that they do is crucial to many families in my constituency and it is great that we have a week to raise awareness of the vital service they provide to the community and local hospitals.” Pam McClinton, Chief Executive for North London Hospice said: “We really appreciate Theresa Villiers MP for taking the time to support such a worthy cause and helping us highlight the importance of Hospice Care Week.”
