New CEO Appointed at North London Hospice

Pam McClinton has been appointed as the new CEO of North London Hospice. Pam has been working at the Hospice for over three years as Director of Nursing. Her main responsibilities as Chief Executive will be the day to day management of the charity’s affairs within a strategic framework and budget, set by the Board of Trustees, and for ensuring implementation of agreed policies and plans.

Pam has extensive Palliative Care experience both clinically and in the education sector. She has held both local and national posts and has gained a wealth of experience which she will be bringing to the role as Chief Executive at North London Hospice.

Pam said:”I am really looking forward to working with all staff and volunteers to continue to establish Hospice services in the communities that we serve, to bring good quality care and support to those that are facing a particularly difficult time in their lives and trying to find their way through unknown territory.”

As well as being a registered nurse, Pam has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and a Masters degree in Professional Practice. She has also completed the Cabinet Office leadership programme.
