Runners taking on the 2015 Virgin London Marathon this Sunday gathered at North London Hospice last night to enjoy a carbohydrate fuelled pasta dinner ahead of the big day. North London Hospice has 21 runners running for the Hospice in this year’s 26.2 mile event. The evening was an opportunity for participants to meet fellow runners and share training tips and stories. Guests were joined by superman John Wallace, who has previously run 288 marathons and who completed last year’s London marathon on behalf of the Hospice. Charlotte Matthews, community and events fundraiser at North London Hospice said: “Having all our London Marathon runners together at the Hospice was brilliant as they were able to see what a huge impact every penny they raise has for the patients in our care and their families. “Everyone seems ready and raring to go! All our runners have been so dedicated not only to the training but with their fundraising, collectively raising nearly £40,000. We’re all looking forward to cheering them on Sunday!”
