Staff and pupils from Winchmore School in N21 held a Donate Don’t Dump day at the school this week to collect items for the Hospice’s new charity shop which is due to open on Green Lanes, Winchmore Hill at the beginning of December. Items collected included clothing, books, dvds, games and bric-a-brac.

Lisa Hughes, Deputy Head of Winchmore School Sixth Form with pupil

Winchmore School has forged close links with the Hospice since the opening of the new building in Barrowell Green, offering fantastic support to the Hospice both in terms of fundraising and volunteering. A presentation was given to sixth form students by hospice staff and a group of students have visited the building in Barrowell Green to see the new services on offer.
