Trusts and Grants
North London Hospice is grateful for the support of many Charitable Trusts and Foundations. Trust donors support all aspects of our operations and have been essential to the establishment, continuation and growth of the Hospice. From capital appeals, running costs and patient services to new service developments and equipment needs, this support is vital to the work that we do. We also make applications to institutional grant makers, such as the Department of Health and the Big Lottery Fund. It costs £7 million a year to run our services, so the support we receive from Charitable Trusts and Foundations is crucial.
We are currently seeking support for the following appeals
Inpatient Unit Refurbishment Appeal North London Hospice is currently planning to refurbish and update the inpatient ward at a cost in excess of £120,000. This will greatly enhance the quality of care that we are able to provide to patients. Art Therapy Appeal We urgently require £18,512 to support the salary cost of our Art Therapist. This allows us to provide two days a week of creative therapies at our new award winning Day Centre in Enfield. The service has a large waiting list but is under threat without funding. Medical equipment, bedding and furniture We are reliant on funding from Charitable Trusts and Foundations for many essential items. These currently include:
- Riser recliner chairs
- A vital signs monitor
- Heat pads
- Pulse oximeters
- Medical books
- Furniture for our new Day Space
If you are aware of any trusts, or any other grant-making body who might be willing to support such services, please call our fundraising team on 020 8446 2288 or email email@example.com to discuss how we may work together. Finally… A big thank you to our previous and existing funders. We would like to thank the Big Lottery Awards for All for their extremely generous donation of £9,980 towards essential equipment for our physiotherapy gym, as well as other furniture, at our Enfield Day Centre.
