What we do

North London Hospice helps people to live with a potentially life-limiting illness providing emotional, spiritual and practical support to them, their families, friends and carers.

Our vision is that everyone living in the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey should receive the specialist palliative care (including practical, spiritual and emotional support) that they require to minimise their symptoms, maximise their quality of life and to live and die with dignity in the surroundings of their choice.

We also want patients' relatives, friends and carers to have the support they need to cope with any difficulties arising from the illness and to recover and rebuild their lives afterwards.

There is no charge for any of these services. The Hospice is a registered charity and we receive only a small proportion of our funding from the NHS. We rely on donations and legacies to help raise the £6 million every year that is needed for our care to continue.
