300 Miles: Ride the Distance From London to Paris
Event date15 July 2020
300 Miles: From London to Paris
What is this challenge?
The Prudential Ride is cancelled, but you can still ride for charity! You can still go the distance by hopping on your bike and pedalling from London to the virtual Arc de Triomphe to help raise funds for North London Hospice!
Challenge yourself with a target distance of 300 miles, which is close to the equivalent of riding from London to Paris!
This is open to everyone, whether you’re an avid cyclist, or just starting it as a hobby! It’s up to you how you take on the challenge. You can do it on your own, with friends, colleagues or family members. You can even use a static bike or use a turbo trainer if you want to create your own indoor cycling set up. Or if you are lucky enough, take advantage of the beautiful countryside or quiet streets of your city. Feel free to mix it up!
There is no registration fee or minimum sponsorship to do this challenge – all you need to do is figure out how to track your distance and if you will do it with a team, set up a fundraising page and off you pedal!
How do I get started with fundraising?
To set up a fundraising page, just click here to set up your JustGiving page. Once that’s done, share your page with as many friends, family members and colleagues as possible and don’t forget to tag us in any photos on social media. Let us know how you are getting on, we’d love to share your updates on social media and with fellow supporters.
You can also use apps like MapMyRide or Strava to track your cycling distances and share on your page too.
We have a dedicated Challenge Fundraiser who is able to help with your questions and guide you on your fundraising journey. If you would like to get in touch, please do email Ryshel .
Good luck! We hope you enjoy this challenge – so much so that you may even want to do the real thing one day!
Thank you from North London Hospice.
