Dementia at the End of Life

A study day for all levels of health and social care professionals who provide end-of-life care for people with dementia. 850,000 people are currently diagnosed with dementia in the UK and this number is expected to continue rising.
This course aims to help health and social care professionals adapt their existing skills to achieve excellent end-of-life care for people with dementia and their families. Topics will include epidemiology, the experience of dementia, symptom management and ethical issues.
Light refreshments, including lunch will be provided.
