Who is the course for?
For registered nurses or doctors who set up and monitor McKinley T34 Syringe Drivers.

On completion of the course learners will:
Understand the rationale for syringe driver use in palliative care;
Be able to discuss the rationale with patients and their families;
Have awareness of medications commonly used in syringe drivers.
Safely set up and monitor the CME T34 syringe driver.

Please note: A certificate of attendance will be issued. However, participants will need to be assessed for competency in their own place of work.

For groups of 8 or more, syringe driver training can be delivered specifically for your organisation at the hospice or in your own place of work.
