They say you should see the Great Wall of China once in your lifetime. So, why not experience one of the great Wonders of the World, whilst supporting an amazing cause?
North London Hospice is teaming up with Global Adventure Challenges to offer you the opportunity to join our charity trek to the Great Wall of China in October 2020.
So what’s involved?
* You’ll experience beautiful sunsets and rolling green hills from the Great Wall and explore trails away from the usual tourist spots
* You’ll trek deep into the countryside, see the watch towersin the Gubeikou section, and explore the city of Beijing and its treasures
* You will even be able to help restore a small part of the majestic wall, where you can write the name of a loved one as a tribute
* Conquer the 1,000 steps up to the wall at Mutianyu – which culminates with the ascent of the ‘Heavenly Ladder’
The trek is challenging, but the support is exceptional, and is sure to leave you with memories you’ll treasure for a lifetime and new friends.
Join us on this wonderful journey, and raise funds to help us continue providing the highest quality end-of-life care and support to patients and families living with a life-limiting illness.
