Launch of the Health and Wellbeing Service
Event date15 March 2018 (Starts at: 14:00)
LocationHealth and Wellbeing Centre, North London Hospice
North London Hospice will be showcasing the services at our Winchmore Hill Health and Wellbeing Centre during a special event to mark the renaming of the centre on Thursday March 15th.
The new Health and Wellbeing Centre name replaces ‘Outpatients and Therapies’ and better reflects the multi-professional approach to enable patients and their families who attend the centre to live as well as they possibly can and improve their quality of life.
The Mayor of Enfield, Christine Hamilton, and Enfield Southgate MP Bambos Charalambous are set to join GPs and health practitioners, church, school and business leaders and residents close to the Barrowell Green site for the event, which begins at 2pm.
The range of services is broad from medical, psychological and emotional support to complementary therapy, rehabilitation and our social programme. Examples of these activities – including art and drama therapy, acupuncture and seated reiki – will be demonstrated throughout the afternoon on March 15. Guests will also have opportunities to talk to those who use the services, volunteers and staff.
The event will run from 2-7pm with an official launch at 4.15pm. Members of the public are welcome to pop in at any time.
The centre address is: 110 Barrowell Green, London, N21 3AY. On-street parking is available around the Hospice.
