Barnet and Southgate College, in partnership with North London Hospice, has developed a pioneering CACHE Level 2 Award in End of Life Care.

This new qualification develops the understanding of different perspectives of death and dying, and the impact it has on individuals. Delivered by specialist staff from North London Hospice , it covers the aims and principles of end of life care, communication factors and how to access a range of support services.

The Award in End of Life care is ideal for anyone looking to develop their knowledge in this subject even though they are not directly involved in the care of an individual. It can be used as CPD across all levels in the Health and Social Care industry and could include workers and volunteers in hospices, care homes, care in the community and primary care.

A nationally recognised qualification
