As we look back at the last 25 years of providing care at Woodside Avenue we can see the changes that have taken place. In 2017 we reached into our Hospice archives to try and show you how far we have come. Since the inception of our building here at Finchley we have constantly adapted to a changing landscape and made sure that we take every chance to improve at every turn. Let us not forget that we have been supporting patients in their own homes for a lot longer, since 1984.
A message from Esther Rantzen
I have been a Patron for North London Hospice for a number of years now and have always been impressed by the high standards and quality of end-of-life care they offer free of charge to the community in north London. I am also delighted to have been invited to be a part of the 25 year anniversary since the inpatient unit at Finchley was built.

25 Year Timeline
From modest beginnings, North London Hospice has developed over the years into a highly capable centre for end-of-life care in the three London boroughs we serve. Here are a few of our highlights.
Our spectacular Gala Dinner took place on Thursday 29 June 2017 at Middle Temple Hall, London, where guests enjoyed a glittering reception, delicious food, fabulous entertainment and a live auction.
North London Hospice held it's first ever street party in July 2017 to celebrate 25 years of inpatient care at Woodside Avenue. The road outside our main building in Finchley was closed off for festivities to bring our local community together for fun, games, music, entertainment, food and stalls.
