A message from Esther Rantzen DBE
I have been a Patron for North London Hospice for a number of years now and have always been impressed by the high standards and quality of end-of-life care they offer free of charge to the community in north London. I am also delighted to have been invited to be a part of the 25 year anniversary since the inpatient unit at Finchley was built.
I am very glad to be a part of such a vital service. Last year North London Hospice cared for over 2,000 people. I think we would all agree that when you are facing the terminal illness of someone you love, you need to be confident in the quality of the care they receive in these precious final days.
With very little Government funding North London Hospice relies on the generosity of the people in the community to secure its ongoing operational cost and fund vital building works in order to offer the best facilities possible.
So that the North London Hospice can remain free to everyone in the Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey would you consider making a donation to secure the future of this service. With your donation North London Hospice will be able to continue to help and support, not only the patients themselves but also their family members and friends of those that have been cared for at the end of their lives with counselling and support.
Thank you for all your support in the past. I am sure you feel it has been worthwhile and will consider continuing to support the Hospice’s wonderful work.
Dame Esther Rantzen DBE
