Our volunteers are an essential part of the Hospice team. Some volunteers have specific skills that they are able to use to help the Hospice, many others offer commitment and enthusiasm, which is equally valued.
North London Hospice welcomes generous, compassionate and dedicated volunteers. With them we can ensure that our patients and their families feel supported by the community around them.

We provide ongoing training and support for all our volunteers and may even be able to create a role reflecting your skills and talents.

When you volunteer in a North London Hospice shop, you’ll be joining a friendly team at the heart of your local community.
We have two main buildings – our in-patient unit in North Finchley and our Oupatients and Therapies Services in Winchmore Hill.

People nearing the end of life can be lonely and could do with some extra support. Compassionate Neighbours can really make a difference. They are trained volunteers who offer their time, companionship and support.
