The North London Hospice is looking for Registered nurses from a range of clinical backgrounds such as care of the elderly, cardiology, neurology, oncology, and critical care, who are looking to develop a career in Palliative Care. Due to recent new investment we are expanding our community services to meet the needs of patients with end stage organ disease, dementia and frailty in addition to patients with advanced cancer and neurological disease.

We have an exciting opportunity for registered nurses with at least 2 years clinical experience post registration to take up an Associate Clinical Nurse Specialist role (Band 6) to become part of our Clinical Nurse Specialist Teams working in Barnet, Haringey and Enfield.

You will work as part of a specialist community multidisciplinary team with leadership from Clinical Nurse Specialists, Team Leaders and Medical staff. In line with the new multi-professional framework for advanced clinical practice we will support the development of your competence and capability by providing supervision and support in the work place with work based assessment to help you progress alongside formal education opportunities in advanced clinical skills and knowledge.

We provide a comprehensive suite of services designed to facilitate patients, and those close to them, receive care in the place of their choice and providing you with the tools to deliver personalised and sensitive patient centred care.The Community Team covers the hours of 08:00 – 20:00.

In addition we can provide continuation of the NHS pension scheme, salary in line with agenda for change (including enhancements), inner London supplement and NHS aligned annual leave.
