Team Lead for the community Health and Wellbeing Service – Clinical Nurse Specialist
Band 8A £44,496 – £51,346 inc. per annum; 34 hours per week

At the North London Hospice Health and Wellbeing Centre we provide a range of services to patients with a life-limiting illness together with their families and friends.
In this role you will combine clinical practice, management, education and research skills in providing leadership and direction for the Health and Wellbeing multi-professional Team.
You will be responsible for continuing to build relationships across the North London Hospice and the communities of the London boroughs of Enfield, Barnet and Haringey to ensure service integration in the provision of specialist palliative care.
Leading the team through service integration solutions in response to the ‘Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) for North Central London’, you will act as a catalyst for change. You will provide day to day operational management of the whole team having oversight of the service and team members providing day to day support and guidance. In addition you will exercise leadership and inspire colleagues to improve standard and quality and develop clinical practice.
The successful candidate will be Degree or Masters level qualified in a health related subject (or working towards) with extensive post registration experience and recent significant experience as a Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. You will also have had experience of leading and managing a team of senior nurses, excellent organisational skills and expert knowledge of palliative care and symptom management and the ability to use in care planning.
