Local acts to battle it out at talent show
12 very talented acts will be battling it out in North Finchley on Saturday 3 February 2018 hoping to be crowned winners at North London’s Got Talent in aid of North London Hospice. Over 100 performers will be gracing the stage at the artsdepot displaying talents from across the board. From a Carribean steel drum band to a 48 piece local community choir, there will be something to keep everyone entertained.
As well as mastering their individual talents, each act has been tasked with raising funds for the Hospice, which supports people with life-limiting illnesses. N12 Community Choir sang some festive songs outside the Whetstone branch of Waitrose earlier this month to raise money for the Hospice. Rap duo ‘JJ Rappers’ were busy giving a helping hand at a local Waitrose branch packing bags for the customers. Lastly Parisha Halai, who will be wowing the audience with her dhol drum performance on the night, has also been busy raising funds for the Hospice performing to audiences at her local Sainsbury’s store.
Parisha said: “I’m super excited to perform at ‘North London’s Got Talent’. It will be a great start to the year to be part of this amazing charitable event.”
Amanda Orsi-Harper, events manager said: “We are really excited for our third talent show. It’s something that anyone of any age can get involved in and it’s all for a good cause raising money for the Hospice while having fun at the same time. “
