Businesses from Winchmore Hill have come together to form a new support group for North London Hospice. The N21 support group, which will help raise money for the hospice, held its first meeting back in September. The group has already planned its first event N21 Has Talent scheduled for Saturday 24 November. Ken Waterhouse, managing director at Winchmore Hill care provider Home Care Preferred, who is one of those involved, said: “The whole group gelled instantly and within a few hours we had made some key decisions on how we could raise funds for this great organisation. “We will hold a number of fundraising events throughout the year and more than anything, we really want to get the community involved.” Members of the N21 Support Group Tracy Annunziato, an administrator at furniture store Heal’s, who is also part of the group, said: “I’m really keen that people know we are looking to involve the whole borough of Enfield and not just Winchmore Hill.” The N21 Has Talent event is due to take place at Waterhouse Hall, in Compton Road, Winchmore Hill. Any local artists who would like to appear on the night, as well as anyone who would like to buy tickets, should contact Ken on 020 8364 3670 or via email ken@homecarepreferred.com The group would also like to hearfrom any businesses interested in sponsoring the night, donating prizes or wanting to get involved.
