North London’s Got Talent 2020 – In Pictures
North London’s Got Talent 2020 was once again a great success, raising £13,247 for patient care at North London Hospice.
Twelve acts battled for the glitterball trophy in our annual live talent show at the Finchley artsdepot on Saturday 8 February in front of a sell-out audience.
They all impressed our judging panel from the worlds of music and dance but it was Domingo Degamon who was crowned winner with his rendition of ‘I Can’t Stop Loving You’that earned him a standing ovation and the winner’s trophy.
Coming in joint second place was dance duo Alani & Ruby and Rubik’s Cube genius Rafi Niman.
The audience were thoroughly entertained with solo singing performances from Lyla Heaven, Millie Milo and Rafi’s sister Levana Niman, while 9-year old Stormkillerz, the Finchley Steel Drum Orchestra and the fantastic Carter Backer Winter boys were among the bands. A mind-boggling magic act came from Roy Noakes and the energy and creativity of dance groups Impel Elite & Non Stop Action made the judging process this year a real challenge.
Hospice supporter Judi Guy did a wonderful job of hosting the evening and we were delighted to welcome back last year’s winner Joel Brahams who performed ‘Shallow’ from A Star is Born and reminded us all why he was crowned winner of NLGT2019.
As well as our acts the audience were also treated to performances by dancers from Pineapple Performing Arts, Elizabeth Harris School of Dance and Studio 45.
The event wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of so many supporters in our community who we’d like to thank for their contributions to the evening, including:
YVA Solicitors for being our main sponsors for the event
JAGS for making and donating our trophies
Funky Flowers who donated flowers for our judges
Curtain Factory for donating fabrics for the show
Artsdepot for having us again
Studio 45, Elizabeth Harris School of Dance and Pineapple Performing Arts for their performances
Commercial supporters who advertised in our event brochure – Rogers Removals, M M Broad and Son Funeral Directors, HW Fisher and Centrum
