We work across the communities of Enfield, Barnet and Haringey, providing the following services:

Access our services

The quickest way to access our services is through your GP, hospital consultant, district nurse or similar medical professional.

Inpatient Unit

Our 18-bed inpatient unit offers specialist 24-hour care. We support our patients with symptom control and end of life care.

Care in the Community

Most people prefer to be in the comfort and security of their own homes and that's where most of our care is provided through our specialist community teams.

Health and Wellbeing Centre

Our Health and Wellbeing Centre in Barrowell Green in Winchmore Hill is the base for North London Hospice’s outpatients and therapies.

Social Care Support

We have a team of qualified and experienced social workers offering psychosocial and emotional support and assessing social and future care needs for patients, their families/ carers.

Spiritual Care

We value and promote an ethos of respect for difference on all levels and we are proud of our identity as the UK’s first purpose built, multi-faith hospice.

Bereavement Service

Bereaved families and friends are cared for and assisted in expressing their grief and loss and to eventually make the important transition to a new way of living.

Quality of Care

We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission. We constantly look at ways to improve the quality of our care, and our patient experience, through our user feedback.

Family Stories

In this section, you can read some of the true stories of people living with a life-limiting illness, and their families, who we’ve cared for.

Information Leaflets

As part of our hospice care, we want to provide as much information as possible for our patients and their families. You can download a number of useful leaflets here.

Ceremony of Remembrance

The Ceremony of Remembrance is designed to offer support to the family and friends of former patients of the North London Hospice who have experienced the pain of bereavement.

Tribute Tree

The North London Hospice Tribute Tree is a beautiful hand-crafted metal sculpture which is set in the main reception in order to give our families the chance to have a permanent tribute to a loved one in the Hospice all year round.

Reaching Our Communities

We are increasingly involving our communities in all that we do. People we are or have supported are vital contributors developing new services and improving existing ones – ‘Nothing about us without us’.
